My Daughter Ysabel finding Beauty in Everything She Does!
Today is my second day on my 21 days of Positive Affirmation! Im feeling a bit under the weather after taking care of my son, and husband that were not feeling good. They feel much better now, but guess who got sick? Yes, ME!
As a mother of 2 teenagers, and a newly added to the family 2 year old boy, its almost impossible to try to find the time to REALLY take care of myself. Thankfully I have the most Incredible and Amazing husband. He is what a call the perfect complement to this crazy, fun, and loving family! A man that truly understands that in order to have a healthy relationship, is not all up to the woman to preform miraculous, heroic results when sick, tired, or simply not feeling its best. So bless!
As the night starts approaching, I was hopeful and happy that all my kids were home, my husband is taking care of the family, and I was ready to jump and collapse in bed. At that exact moment, this beautiful voice starts yelling from her room " MAMA, WOULD YOU LIKE TO GO FOR A HIKE WITH ME?" YEAP! Ysabel, my 14 year old daughter ask me to go, and do something just the two of us. And for anyone that is a parent of a teenager like mine, this are RARE opportunity you don't want to miss. Not even my very tired and in pain, feeling like noodle, but feeling great body!
So I Did!
I decided to take this special moments, and to make a quick wise choice that I know I won't want to miss for anything in the world. I got up, and drive to the place she wanted to go. It was to late for a hike, so she decided it will be a better idea to go to Spooner's Cove, were we live, and sit in the sand at night time as we look into the Beautiful Blue Night Sky. Here are few pictures that can say better than words the magic that happen last night, just Daughter and Mom!
